Welcome to our 70th podcast and the 40th as A City on a Hill Church. This is a continuation of Pastor Mike’s opening of 2 Peter 2:9. The first few minutes of this message were hampered by some severe sound problems and have been bypassed.
Since the message concerns “The Kingdom of Christ,” and a portion of the message which covers the 70 Weeks of Daniel, Daniel 9:24-27, was lost, we’ve included an in depth study Pastor Mike presented in 2011 as a Special Edition of this Podcast. It is in three parts, PC 69a through PC 69c which precede this episode. We invite you to listen to those podcasts in support of this message, PC 70, which begins as Pastor Mike discusses Daniel 9:25 and reads: “ So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.” To determine when that decree was made, Pastor Mike opens Nehemiah 1 and 2.
