Welcome to the 166th Podcast and the 136th as A City on a Hill Church. The two Commandments tell us that the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac, the God of Israel, the God of the born from above (born again) Christian church, is to be preeminent in our lives. We’re to have no other god’s before Him. We’re to put nothing – living or inanimate – on His throne. Anything we might put there is an idol and we’re to have none of those. Taking his message from Isaiah 2:6-9, and 20-21, Pastor Mike gives us a message laced with both warning and blessing, a message we all need to hear – “Casting Down Our idols.”
