Welcome to the 152nd Podcast and the 122nd as A City on a Hill Church. Pastor Mike continues in his series in Isaiah by opening Chapter 1, verses 18-20. Countries and people groups who begin by knowing and following Christ enjoy great blessings from the Lord―economic, spiritual, life-enriching. But often, as time goes on, such blessing cease to be recognized as from God and begin to be seen as man produced. Men become arrogant, men become rebellious, and the nation or people group comes under the Lord’s condemnation―and blessings cease. Such was the case for Israel. In these verses God tells us that such condemnation need not be permanent, that by turning back to God those grievous, blood-stained sins can be washed away and become, as Pastor Mike has entitled this message, “Whiter than Snow.”
