Agape love is defined as the love God has for us. It is a complete and unconditional love that transcends time and circumstance. He commands that we have agape love towards Him and our fellow man, even those who have persecuted us. In Matthew 5:44 (NASB) “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” We should seek to be at peace with everyone and love everyone as Christ loves us. Matthew 6:14 says this, "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
