These days everywhere we go, there are many who are in need. Some are impoverished, desperate, without food, shelter or proper clothing. Many are completely out of choices and crying out for our help. The Bible is clear that we are to be generous to others. God commands us to give freely of our time and resources to help others, in service to Him, the church and to help those in need. We should give the most while we are young and have the strength to do so. We harvest the crop of the seeds that we sow, our harvest multiplied many times over what we planted.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (NIV)
